Wickedpedia

I'm reading this cool book called Wickedpedia from Chris Vantetten. There was an interesting part that I found was that the book is about how everything comes true when you type it on the Internet. For example if you type "i wished I was a billionaire", it will come true. Which is pretty amazing but on the other hand, if you were to be mad at someone and want to harm him then these teens would type something like "I wished he died". The next day they would found out that they are murderers. It's pretty interesting how the author made this book of how a website can physically do harm. I recommend this book if think it's cool.

The Stranger

A connection I had was that when I was younger I was once frightened of a monster in my dreams. Just like how this girl from the book was in a cave and ended up seeing this monster and she was shocked as well. Except that she was in a cave and not in a dream. She was actually taken out of the cave by the same monster for some reason. I wondered why it would do that to her, then it had said "never come back again".

Goals for quarter two

My goal for this quarter is to read as many books as possible this quarter.

Spooksville

I found an interesting book and it's about how these four kids who found treasure and then they find out that it belongs to a dragon. The dragon then plans to attack the town unless it finds the treasure. I found that part interesting because I like action and adventure books. If you are a person who likes action and adventure then this is a just right book for you.

A monster calls Connection

I got a connection because in the book it says that the character was scared because there was a monster in his backyard. When I was about 8 years old I was also scared because I thought there was a creature. I also had a nightmare like how it happened in the book, and when I had a nightmare I screamed for my mom. But in the book it did actually happened, and for me it was just a nightmare thankfully. Now I don't have as much nightmares as I did before.

The Outsiders Comparison

The book was longer than the movie cause the book had more detail. I was expecting for the socs to try and cut Ponyboy's hair but they didn't. Some events happened early cause they started to drown Ponyboy around the beginning of the movie and in the book that happened towards the middle of it. I liked the movie better than the book because the movie showed the actions and I was able to image more than in the book. Since I'm a visual person it helped me more than the book.

A monster Call

It's about how this kid named Connor who has a nightmare but then finds out that it wasn't a nightmare it had happened for real. Because it says that his mom said "Sometime after midnight, must have been," she said, shuffling over to switch on the kettle. "I thought I was dreaming but I could have sworn I heard your voice".So that is how he found out that is was no nightmare.
