Anne Frank

As we are reading Anne Frank we are learning that the adversity that Anne Frank faces are, arguing with her mom and dad. This relates to me because I sometimes argue with my parents. Another adversity that she faces is that she has to hide inside her small home with her family from the Nazis. This doesn't relate to me because I haven't hid from someone before. How does this relate to you?

Conflict

Im reading this book called "Bring me a dream", and the conflict of this book is about how a boy named Marshall who finds and advertisement called dream deliveries. Then he finds out that his dad had a nightmare and had come true. In the book it says "The advertisement showed a van driving on a cloud. The words beneath the van said: YOU DREAM IT, W'ELL DELIVER IT. BEST RATES IN EERIE. CALL NOW, TOLL FREE." This proves that the conflict is how he finds an advertisement called "dream deliveries". In the text it says "I picked up the bill. It was for $7,564.13, to be exact. It had come in an envelope marked as DREAM DELIVERIES. I had a nightmare about this last night, said my father". This proves that this conflict is about how nightmares come true. This is an internal conflict because he is worried that he would get a nightmare and would come true.

Holocaust opinion

People just watched this happen because they knew that if they stood up, then the Nazis would harm them. They stood up for others because they wanted to be helpful and they didn't want to feel their pain. I would have sneaked up on the Jews and tried to rescue them because I wouldn't want them to suffer.

A place to travel

I would love to go to Tokyo because their amusement parks are the best, this roller coaster goes underground and you get sprayed with water. The houses are so extreme and looks like rooms stacked up on each other. My second place I would like to visit is Florida because their beaches are so clear and not as dirty as the other beaches around here in Illinois. Overall I would want to go to Tokyo and discover theses houses in person and the amusement parks.

Compare and Contrast

Through out this quarter I've read these two books which are "Wickedpedia" and "Diary of a wimpy kid". The things that they have similar are that they both are teen fiction, and the difference is that they both have their own conflict. In the text of Wickedpedia it says "You killed Mr. Henderson, too?". In the text of Diary of a wimpy kid it says "I can't believe Rowley went and backstabbed me like that." This shows that they both have their own conflict.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days

I'm reading this book called Diary of a wimpy kid Dog Days. I like how this book heads to summer vacation, and sometimes they don't turn out well. In the text it says  "due to lightning, the slip slide water park is now closed. Thank you for coming, and have a nice day." This proves that sometimes Greg's vacation don't all turn out the way he wants them to be. So far this book is going great, if you are a Diary of a wimpy kid reader this might be one of your favorites. The genre I would give it, is teen fiction .

Diary of a wimpy kid

Im reading "Diary of a wimpy kid" and I had a comment of how there was a cheese touch in the book. I thought that it was pretty immature that the cheese touch existed because that is like elementary. In the text it says "It meant that I have the Cheese Touch", this shows that the cheese touch existed and that it was immature. Everything else is alright and I recommend this book if you haven't read it yet. I would say that this book's genre is teen fiction.
