Safety for Heritage

It was nice and sunny day at Heritage middle school, the staff is trying to keep this school safe. The Principal had students download an app called "STOP IT" and so far no one has been bullied. But sometimes we don't really know what is really happening to them in there own time. Also not only about bullying but also everything about safety, like how early this year 2015 there had been a hard lockdown.
According to Heritage they are trying to get students away from their phones in case there is another lockdown. So teachers and students won't get seen they must hide under cabinets. A student said "We need to be more cautious", and some agreed, so the school can be aware of what's around us. A parent was commenting when the lockdown had happened, "I felt worried cause I saw all the parents waiting for children, and commenting of what had happened in the school. So someone said that they were worried as well because it was a pretty long time. People asked their siblings and one of them said " I guess Heritage is a pretty school because they know what to do in any situation.
What the principal should do is, ask students how was their day then if the student says that their not feeling well then they should talk through it. A sibling had also commented that she does think that Heritage Middle School is safe. Then this other student said that he does feel safe around HMS. If someone is being bullied then they must report it immediately to any adult they trust as in teachers or parents and even the principal. Heritage must try to make others comfortable to say what really is happening.
Tremendous Lockdown

Last year in Heritage Middle School students were working independently with a nice and quiet sound, teachers proud and cheerful that it was quiet. After students finished working around 3:00pm they were told to read for the next seventeen minutes, the children were pretty upset because of reading. Someone said "Uhh do we have to read?". The teacher heard so she answered "Yes, it's for your benefit." So some people just stared at their page pretending they were reading looking exhausted.
Until students read some pages and some pretended to, it was 3:15pm and then people started to look anxious to leave the building until the principal had announced "good evening students and staff we are going into a hard lockdown." There was a lockdown because people came in suddenly.Teachers were telling students to go and lean against the shelves and be very quiet. People were scared because it took a pretty long for the lockdown to end. Teachers seemed to question themselves about when this hard lockdown was gonna end even students cause they wanted to go home. As time passed it was around 3:30pm and finally they had announced with pride and satisfaction that it was time to go.
After the tragedy passed parents were so satisfied that their children finally came out. But the lockdown was so bad that their was a helicopter filming Heritage Middle School for the news. People have never been in this bad situation before in a school especially a lockdown. The news later on showed that Heritage had been in a hard lockdown in the early afternoon.
Everything isn't really important
When I was younger all I've ever wanted were toys and cool items. My mom told me "not always I need toys because sometimes you forget about them".
as I started to grow I realized that I don't need a lot of stuff as in laser beams
because now I don't really pay attention to it anymore. So I had a discussion
with my mom saying that I am not gonna buy anything that I will forget about
now I am gonna buy more valuable things as in supplies or a phone. I started
to realize it by 11 years old. Now until this day i don't really buy anything that
is useless.
Then the next thing I know is that i actually save more money when I don't buy
a lot of items. I saved about 12 more dollars than I did after I realized that
buying a lot of things is worth it. Now my family is now able to save up for bigger
items in stores as in a newer phone, something big. Sometimes my parents did get
mad and told me not to buy a lot of things. So then I started not to buy anymore
things from stores especially Walgreens cause they did have good tasty snacks
there. My parents also told me not too much sweet is good and that's another
reason why I stopped buying a lot of sweet. Never waste money on anything that
is worthless.
